Coach Greenlee

Coach Greenlee is in his 7th year as a Track Coach.  Coach Greenlee’s first year as a Track Coach was spent at West Wilkes Middle school where he was the Head Coach of the Boys and Girls team that captured the County Championships in Wilkes County.

Coach Greenlee spent the next 5 years coaching at Jonesboro Middle School.  While at Jonesboro Middle School the teams he coached were responsible for top 5 finishes in the county 4 out of 5 years, the county record in 2009 for the girls 100 Meter Dash, the county record in 2010 for the boys 100 Meter Dash, the county record in 2010 for the boys 4x1 Relay, the county record in 2010 for the boys 200 Meter Dash, the county record in 2012 in the boys 100 Meter Dash, the county record in 2012 in the boys 4x1 Relay, and a Boys County Championship in 2012.

This past year was Coach Greenlee’s first year coaching track at Elite Scholars, and he enjoyed coaching the middle school team and high school team. 

In addition to 7 years of coaching experience, Coach Greenlee has 4 years of competition experience in the Long Jump 100 Meter Dash, 4x1 Relay, 400 Meter Dash, and 4x4 Relay.  In NC Coach Greenlee was a state finalist for 3 consecutive years in the 400 Meter Dash and a state finalist in the 4x1 one year.  Coach Greenlee’s track career ended his senior year in high school when he elected to participate in collegiate football instead of participating in collegiate track.

Coach Greenlee also has experience as a personal trainer.  Coach Greenlee was certified as a personal trainer through the American Aerobic Association International and maintained his Trainer Certification through 2009.
