MINI BIO

I began my career of improving individual’s wellness at Appalachian State University.  While I was a student at Appalachian State University, I played college football for 2 and a half years, I worked as a Wellness Programmer and had a started a personal training business.  Though highly success with my personal training business, I sought my passion to teach and began my teaching career upon obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Health Education.

Shortly after obtaining my Bachelors Degree I enrolled in Troy State University and obtained my Masters Degree in Post Secondary Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology.

Since 2007 I have taught Health and Physical Education in Clayton County.  While teaching in Clayton County, I have enjoyed being a chapter advisor for Health Occupations Students of America, coaching Middle school football, Middle school Basketball, High School Basketball, and Middle and High School Track.
